Benno Simma mainly delves into minimisation of components that seem to shape many of our everyday objects. In his exhibition at the ES contemporary art gallery in Merano, the designer deals with archetypes of classic interior furnishings. Simma starts with just six components and uses them repeatedly to make a stool, chair, bench, shelf, bed, and dining table: these six pieces comprise the exhibition-hence the title of the show, six for all.
